Established Prior to 1776
Reedy Creek is one of the oldest Baptist Churches in Virginia. When Virginia was a Colony of England the Episcopal Church was the Established Church of England and also of the Virginia Colony.
No other Denomination was allowed a right to organize a Church without the consent of the King of England and this was granted only to the Episcopalian Churches.
We are traditional in our beliefs and trust fully in God to lead us into the furture.
